A Poetic Injustice
I must admit That you really don’t love me you want me You see this 6’4” tall frame and you think He can do you like no one has done before Maybe You look at me and you read my poetry Wanting me to be what the words I give But you are not ready for the real of me You really don’t even want to see what evils I live You don’t want to see my hurt You don’t want to hear me cry And you don’t want to see me bleed You want me to be a perfect prodigy An Adonis who doesn’t know life But just a visage of what life should be And you love me because I can say so many things And you love me because I can make you believe That you idea of a true man really lives You embrace me because I talk about all the things you need And I give a taste of what you need In my revelry And your flock to me Like flies so often come right to fresh feces And when you get to me And realize I’m as flawed as the other shit You curse me and call me all those colorful names You slap my face and your toes my gonads seem to find Mad at me because what I write is not the true perfection you seek When you learn I am just a man I am the worst nightmare you have evr lived I am sorry I didn’t mean to lead you on I never wanted to make you believe I am the picture Of the perfection that you so long needed I am sorry I apologize that my words are so tainted and so askew That they are really not the love you needed I am sorry I didn’t mean to make you love me That was not my intention I just wanted you to listen to me and your heart Was the quickest way to get to what you feel So I played with you and I used you I misled you And I misconstrued all that you knew I feinted love for you so you could love me I played with your emotions and I created a world That you would love me I did this and I am sorry for leading you “Omavi está muerto.®” Sunday, February 21, 2010 ©2010 Omavi Ndoto.
